Steps 1 and 2

Step 1: Go through materials available on the website

The eSCM website www.escm.org.sg has information about the eSCM assessment programme. From the menu bar on the left hand side of the web page, click on ‘Introduction’. This section inlcudes:

If the programme appeals to you, try answering the on-line scorecard. Click on ‘User Guide’ from the menu bar on the left hand side of the web page to go through a self-assessment.

Step 2: Obtain management approval

If the objective and benefits appeal to you, obtain senior management commitment to go through the assessment programme

What it costs you
S$ 7000 (this fee will be reduced with the subsidy available. Please contact SMa Federation for further information)
Time: A few days of internal assessment, 2 days of audit by eSCM auditor and ½ day of summarising workshop by the consultants

A detailed assessment and report by a eSCM auditor – where you stand and where you can improve
Access to benchmarking database.
